Ridley’s Games presents Word Flip: The quick-thinking, card-flipping, tongue-tying, vocab-vexing party game!

Think fast, speak faster! What’s something scary that starts with T? Why has every animal disappeared from your brain? Surely there’s something in your fridge beginning with F? (Hint: It’s food, you fool!)

Prepare to play at pace as each card is flipped and you race to think of a word that links the letters in front of you to the category in the middle. Be the first to shout out an answer, then flip your used letter to reveal a new category, so you’d better keep that brain whirring!

Made for people who think they know all the words—or just love a fast-paced challenge—Word Flip is suitable for 2 to 15 players, ages 8+, and takes around 20 minutes to play (although that depends on how fast you think on your feet!).

At Ridley’s Games, we like to make Good Clean Fun that’s as kind to the planet as it can be, so this game is printed on FSC paper with soy inks and made using 30% recycled materials.

How to Play:

The game is simple: Use all your letters to win!

Each player starts with a pile of 20 cards and keeps 4 in play at a time. One card is placed in the center of the table.

Flip over the central card to reveal the first category. Now think fast—name something in that category that begins with one of your four letters. Remember, everyone plays at the same time, so speed is key.

The first player to name something correctly then flips their used letter into the middle to reveal a new category for everyone, and replaces that letter with one from their pile. 

Keep thinking, speaking, and flipping until one player has used up all their letters and wins!
