Egg is missing its mom. It's a mommy mystery, and she is nowhere to be found. Sure, there is a friendly crustacean who is egg-sitting, but it would be nice to know who (and what!) mommy is. Of course, it would help Egg figure out its own identity as well. Egg imagines all kinds of mommies, from a unicorn to a mermaid--even an alien and more!-- thinking about who she might be and the qualities she might have. With suspense and humor, the book celebrates moms, and asks us consider all the qualities needed to be a great mom. In the end, what's going to come out of the egg, and will it get crackin' before mommy comes back? We'll have to read it to find out!
