  • Overview

1000 piece puzzle featuring the artwork of acclaimed Ferndale, Washington based artist Andrea Joyce Heimer.

1000 piece puzzle featuring the artwork of acclaimed Ferndale, Washington based artist Andrea Joyce Heimer.

Andrea Joyce Heimer’s richly detailed paintings are infused with the dreamlike imagery of a child’s escape into fantasy, and rendered in a flat, paper-doll-like style. The artist’s narratives evoke both a sense of playfulness and profound introspection that make her work utterly unique yet instantly relatable. Let’s face it, we’ve all been stood up at a rodeo in Montana at one point or another in our lives. We just don’t remember it quite like Heimer does.

Andrea Joyce Heimer was born in Great Falls, MT and lives in Ferndale, WA. Her work has been exhibited at the CICA Vancouver, the Whatcom Museum, the Northwest Museum, and at the Megan Mulrooney Gallery in Los Angeles.
