Elliott and Felix have been best friends since kindergarten. While they’re both known for pulling pranks and causing trouble, Elliott has always followed Felix’s lead. Now high school seniors, the friends have taken their bad behavior to criminal lengths, stealing from others through online scams. The two are joined by Felix’s tech-savvy new girlfriend, Céline, who helps draw in potential victims. As money quickly flows their way, the group feels emboldened to chase bigger, riskier scams using artificial intelligence. But then Elliott receives a threatening message from someone who claims to have caught on to their selfish schemes. When harassment from the unknown stranger ramps up, the crew of con artist friends are plunged into a spiral of growing paranoia and mutual mistrust. Relationships fray and devastating secrets are revealed as the group faces blackmail and potential discovery. Elliott fights to pull himself away from the criminal web he is tangled within.
