Alba González is a twenty-year-old girl who began writing at the age of twelve to save herself from her inner struggles. In 2017, she fell into a depression, and two years later, she developed anorexia. After several suicide attempts, she was admitted to a facility and began writing about her mental health struggles.
In this poetry collection, she pours out her journey of recovery, her battles, and the relapses she’s had throughout this difficult situation that has followed her all her life. With sensitive and genuine verses, Alba González reflects on her experiences and challenges in striving for a life of mental well-being.
