Roisin—an indestructible, heavens-approved assassin—has once again found herself imprisoned. After Roisin is targeted, she realizes that Thaddeus is the only one whose murderous intents she can trust while on a ship full of suspects. The two strike a deal to hunt down the killer: Thaddeus helps Roisin play detective, and once a day he can test her indestructibility. Together, Roisin and Thaddeus must navigate murder, ocean storms, and the rising tensions beginning to infiltrate their fake marriage. Bodies are piling up, and time is running out to uncover the truth before they reach land.
