Overview
From the creators of the beloved bestseller This Book Is On Fire! comes an unforgettable and hilarious children’s book about being content with who you are…
Finn LOVES being a frog, but when a curious kid picks up crayons and starts doodling on his pages, Finn’s world takes an unexpected leap! He’s suddenly tempted by the idea of a makeover: bigger muscles, snazzy glasses, and a full head of hair. Sounds fantastic, right?
But as Finn dives into this colorful transformation, things get a bit froggy! Each artistic flourish changes his identity, and he’s caught in a whirlwind of whimsical alterations. Will Finn croak under the pressure of these playful changes, or will he discover that being true to himself is the most important leap of all?
This Book Is A Mistake! is a funny picture book for 5 year olds and a favorite for bedtime stories, classroom read-alouds, and long car rides. With bright, playful art and interactive laughs, it delivers a gentle social-emotional lesson about self-acceptance and confidence.
Great for boys and girls who love silly humor, surprises, and hands-on fun, this ribbit-ing adventure makes a perfect gift for kids ages 3–8 and grades K–3.
