The Mamo Murders

Leslie Farnham is a new bride, but the mysteries of marriage are nothing compared with the mysteries that greet her when she returns to Hawaii after a visit to the mainland. For starters, her husband has disappeared, and people keep muttering about an accident at sea, though he was—is!—an expert sailor. Those “people” are her husband's relatives, who seem to have taken over the ranch in Leslie's absence, and who show no signs of leaving. And finally there's the stable boy, who apparently saw something awful, but who was killed before he could explain.
