Overview
What if being different helps you make a difference? To teach those around us, accept what we are, and be happy with what we have. When a house bird gets out of his cage and flies to the roof of the school across the road, he quickly learns valuable lessons after he gets scared and teased by what seems to be bully birds. He then befriends a kind and helpful bird who helps him get back home. In his adventures, he learns to know different types of birds and that being different is entirely acceptable, and that we must be content with what we have.

· The different kinds of birds in nature.
· The survival skills in nature. But unfortunately, this fat bird couldn't find a blankie, cage, or seed bowl in nature.

· Happy reunions with those who love each other.
It teaches about all these and our choice to be happy with what we have - that the grass is not always greener on the other side. Freedom and home are where our hearts are.
About the Author:
As a young child, Sanet would conjure up stories, share them with anyone who would listen. Growing up, she has taken the time to refine her storytelling and writing abilities and its potency in storytelling.
Sanet studied in South Africa and New Zealand. Her current movie is in production, and her future plans include a television drama from one of her published books.
