The Chakrata Incident

High-flying Gurkha officer Max Devlin is posted to a unique unit of the 22s – India’s Special Frontier Force – composed of Tibetan men and women, to train them together with an American Ranger for operations inside Tibet. What starts out as an interesting posting becomes increasingly complicated by clashing personalities in the Indian cabinet and an ambitious intelligence officer. The misogynist Ranger’s inflexibility threatens the project, and the courage and skill of three women – a Muslim combat surgeon and two outstanding Tibetan officers – will be put to the test. Local BJP politicians add to the problems even before the 22s will be exposed to torture and death once they cross into Tibet. When faced with a challenge to his code of conduct as a professional soldier, Max has to decide where his priorities lie.
