Overview
The first English-language compendium devoted entirely to the rich tapestry of Estonian folklore, witchcraft, and magical practices
Drawing on archival research, hands-on fieldwork, and centuries of oral lore, Taimnejalg: Knowledge to Stand Upon gathers a living body of knowledge that has long remained fragmented and difficult to access. This book serves simultaneously as a practical companion for the modern practitioner and a respectful homage to Estonia's ancestral traditions—offering an overview of folk magical traditions, along with a practical, hands-on grimoire of magical work. Through nature worship, herb craft, spirit communication, magical spells, and seasonal rites, Taimnejalg: Knowledge to Stand Upon invites you into a world where the mundane and the magical are inseparable.
