Overview
Invisible monsters are attached to all of us like parasites, they’re secretly suppressing the world, and Cullen Montgomery might just be the only person on Earth who knows they exist. But he’s never fought back against anything, and that makes him the least-likely person to save humanity.
After Cullen Montgomery realizes that invisible horrific monsters are being used to suppress Earth’s population into a lower cognitive state, Cullen . . . does nothing. Because that’s what Cullen has always done in the face of conflict or adversity. He’s looked the other way. He’s tucked his tail between his legs. So for over a year, Cullen watches the world suffer, says nothing, and does nothing.
But when the powers who are responsible for the monsters learn that Cullen can see their invisible threats, he becomes a target and is thrust into a global resistance he wants nothing to do with. A global resistance that views Cullen and his inactivity as just one more enemy.
If the world is to be saved, Cullen will have to change his ways and his new allies will have to trust him. But it might already be too late.
