Get to the top of the trees with the Slides and Climbs game from Petit Collage!
In this wild take on the classic game of Snakes & Ladders, players hop their birds from the river to the nest as fast as they can. Roll the die to move the counter along the numbered path. If your bird lands at the bottom of a vine, then it can climb climb climb! But if the bird lands at the top of a stream, then it must ride the slide all the way down to its end. The first player to get their bird safely into the nest wins the game!
Perfect for 2–4 players, ages 4+, playing this game will help kids learn the values of patience, focus, and winning and losing with grace.
Inside the box, you’ll find 4 wooden bird counters, wooden die, gameboard, and English, Dutch, French, German, Italian, and Spanish instructions.
The game is made using FSC paper and wood, and the packaging is printed using 75% recycled materials and vegetable inks.
AIM OF THE GAME:
It’s a race to the top! Help your bird be the first to reach the nest to win the game.
SETUP:
Lay out the game board, choose your bird counter, and place it on the Start space.
HOW TO PLAY:
Roll the die and move your bird that number of spaces along the path.
If you land at the top of a stream, you must slide down to its end.
If you land at the bottom of a vine, you must climb to its end.
If you roll a 6, you can take another turn.
The first player to get their bird into the nest wins the game!
