Overview
The saga shifts to new lands. From Norfrica creator and writer Eric July with art by Ronilson Freire—Norfrica: Glorious Death #2 takes the mythology epic from the Norse-inspired Asgarth to the African folklore-inspired realm of Nyandala. A sovereign land that no portal leads to. A land the other realms fear.
Issue #1 introduced Asgarth—a Norse-inspired realm and the political machinations threatening to plunge the realms into war. Issue #2 turns to Takhari and the African folklore-inspired realm of Nyandala—a land that exists beyond the reach of any portal, feared by the other realms for reasons they barely understand. Nyandala stands apart. And Takhari's story—the heart of this issue—is just beginning.
The series carries a real-world cross-media tie-in: “Glorious Death,” the Billboard-charting single performed by Eric July and Dan Vasc as the in-universe band Norfrica—a song that exists in the world of the comic and in ours. A mythology-driven epic with grounded character work and full-page art, continuing the ongoing saga that began in Norfrica: Glorious Death. 16+ rating.
From Rippaverse founder Eric July, with art by Brazilian artist Ronilson Freire, colors by Marcos Martins, and letters by The Invisible Art Studio. The African mythological backbone of the wider Norfrica arc.
