A fast-paced psychological thriller that reminds us that the past always comes back to haunt us when we least expect it.
The Palau de la Música hosts the premiere of the world tour of the renowned Barcelona Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Víctor Alemany, the great contemporary maestro of classical music. In the middle of the performance, the iconic modernist skylight that presides over the symphony hall explodes into a thousand pieces and a man hangs from the ceiling by a rope. The explosion causes chaos, and panic takes hold of the audience filling the venue.
This is only the first in a series of events that will take place in the different capitals where the orchestra will perform. Sergeant Martina Roca is put in charge of investigating them, and she will delve into a labyrinth where the most perverse side of human nature will captivate the reader until the very last page.
