Overview
Mistletoe, Mince Pies... and a Will to Kill
I'm learning the ropes at Claus Cottage--lists, cocoa runs, and helping Mrs. Claus pull off Christmas in Candy Cane Hollow. My sister August is visiting, Gilbert the house-elf is guarding his mince pies like crown jewels, and the town twinkles in every direction.
Then a will reading tilts the snow globe. Artie, recently deceased and very wealthy, leaves everything to an elf named Patrice who swears she never knew him. Artie's son and daughter-in-law arrive furious. Patrice's estranged husband turns up to claim a slice. By nightfall, the husband is poisoned while staying at Claus Cottage, and Chief Superintendent Wiggles decides the killer is one of us.
With Nick at my side, and August spotting details everyone else misses, I start peeling back inheritance grudges, holiday theatrics, and motives wrapped up prettier than the presents. We need the truth before the Festival Hall lights come on for Christmas and the real culprit walks away.
Mistletoe Murder is the fourth book in the Candy Cane Hollow Christmas Cozy Mystery series. A warm, magical, and clean holiday whodunit for fans of Hallmark-style cozies and anyone who wishes they could spend Christmas in Santa's own hometown.
