Overview
Hallo, I'm Clara Peeters. Do you know what a still life is? I’m one of the first women to paint them, so I can tell you all about these beautiful paintings with their shimmery reflections, and then you can make one! Let me tell you a bit about my trailblazing life as a woman artist in the 1600s Netherlands while we enjoy the incredible details of my flowers, foods, and overflowing tables.
Enjoy artwork from the greatest names in history through Meet the Artist. This bestselling series pairs gorgeous art with first-person narration and astonishing close-ups to spark a lifelong journey of art appreciation. As each artist walks you through their art, you'll learn how to think like an artist and capture beauty on paper. The creative activity prompts equip you to discuss their art and follow in their footsteps.
