Zu jedem dieser Verfahren erfolgt die umfassende Erläuterung des physikalischen Grundprinzips, der gerätetechnischen Umsetzung, der Qualitätsparameter und der medizinischen Applikationen. Darüber hinaus werden auch spezielle Verfahren für Forschungsanwendungen besprochen.
