Standing at a crossroads in his life, Kurihara agonizes.
At that time, he learns of a strange fact. The year before he was born, his grandmother, Chikako, reportedly met a mysterious death while clutching a single old map. Until the very end, his mother continued to pursue the reason for Chikako's death and the mystery of the old map. However, she passed away, leaving behind an unfinished investigation record. "If I can clear my mother's regrets, perhaps something will change." To find the truth, Kurihara sets out on a journey to a far-off land.
