Letters are the building blocks of the words that beginning readers are just learning to spell. This book introduces beginning readers to letters, and how to sign them using American Sign Language (ASL), the language commonly used by the deaf community. With a foundation in letters, kids can sign any word they can spell. Each letter is accompanied by a photograph to aid in word recognition and illustrations and pictures of the correct hand placement and movement for the ASL translation.
