Estos fugitivos, según cuenta una antigua leyenda, fueron los fundadores de las tres grandes familias de la mafia.

1957. Fate sometimes chooses unexpected paths. Raised in an orphanage during the harsh years of the war, Hueso is a hustler who survives on the streets of Palermo by pulling off small scams and skirmishes. He always carries with him, like a talisman, the mysterious cameo that the nuns found next to him when he was abandoned on the steps of the hospice. He does not know it, but that pendant holds the key to his origins: a legacy that dates back several centuries.

Fifteenth century. Three brothers arrive on dry land after a grueling journey as stowaways. They have escaped from the kingdom of Castile after avenging their sister, who was raped and murdered by a feudal lord. When they decide to split up to avoid capture, one of them heads for the island of Sicily, taking with him the medallion that belonged to the young woman. According to an ancient legend, these fugitives were the founders of the three great mafia families.

When Hueso discovers that he is the last descendant of this lineage, he is drawn into the heart of a plot of power, honor, and betrayal, in which he must face his own history... and a destiny he never imagined.
