Overview
Il Cristo cancellatore: a landmark work of Italian conceptual art.
In June 1968, Emilio Isgrò presented an installation of books, lecterns, and neon lighting titled Il Cristo cancellatore at the Galleria Apollinaire in Milan. Today, the work is part of the collections at the Centre Pompidou.
Forma Edizioni pays tribute to Emilio Isgrò’s artistic practice with a new and exquisite edition of Il Cristo cancellatore. This ambitious editorial project consists of a large-format volume (42.5 × 60 cm), produced in a limited edition of nine copies, each accompanied by a critical booklet containing a curatorial text by Marco Bazzini and an essay by a leading
Italian critic.
The essays are in English; the works are in their original language (Italian).
