Jean-Marc Ibos and Myrto Vitart have started their career working with Jean Nouvel, being in charge with some of his key projects. Soon after they left Nouvel, their first major work, the extension and remodeling of Lille Fine Art Museum, won the l’Equerre d’argent, a prestigious award in France.
Their design is the result of a deliberately restrained attitude. It is rooted in their profound consciousness of the responsibility of the architect in society. Delivering lasting buildings that value and enrich a place while serving present and future users and inhabitants is their goal.
