A prickly twist on the classic game of pick-up sticks! Collect sticks without disturbing the wooden hedgehog to earn points. The player with the highest score when the hedgehog falls is the winner!
Roll the die to determine the color you’re playing with, and then ever so gently remove a stick of that color from the bunch. But be very careful because with each stick that’s removed, the balancing hedgehog will become more and more unsteady, and when it drops, the game is over.
And there’s an extra prickle! If the die lands on the hedgehog icon, you can invent a rule for the next player to follow on their turn. Something like “Keep one eye closed” or “Sing a song”—it’s totally up to you!

AIM OF THE GAME:

HOW TO PLAY:
The youngest player goes first. Roll the die and remove a stick of the color shown, being careful not to disturb the hedgehog! If the die lands on the hedgehog icon, take your turn removing any color stick and then invent a rule for the next player to follow, for example, “Keep one eye closed” or “Use your non-dominant hand.” Keep taking turns and collecting sticks until the hedgehog hoop falls to the table, ending the game. Now count up your points: thick sticks are worth two points each, and thin sticks are worth one point each. The player with the highest score wins the game!
