Fire for Fire tells the story of exile and migration of a father and his daughter, whose two voices express the abyss that separates them. As brief as it is overwhelming, the novel portrays the drama of the children of exile: a displaced second generation that remembers nothing of its country of origin nor the hardships of escape and arrival in a new land, and for whom life in a marginalized urban suburb becomes a gateway to loneliness and violence.
