They are both protagonists in this story full of political betrayals, personal ambitions, infidelities, labor abuse, corruption, and authoritarianism. Mi intention is to show how power has been López Obrador’s great love and obsession, and how hatred and resentment have been his nourishment.
“Here I detail how the President’s operators raised billions of pesos over a long time to please their boss, and took a good piece of the action for themselves. I don’t pretend to revile any of the characters featured here, but just break a pact of impunity. Mexicans have a right to know the true face of the new mafia of power, o rather, the cult of power.
