  • Overview

    ENGLISH DESCRIPTION

A group of exceptional children tries to save a Victorian world on the brink of collapse. Will they succeed? The story of J.M. Miro’s Ordinary Monsters continues.

Agrigento, Sicily, 1883. Following the destruction of the Orsine, the Cairndale Institute lies in ruins, and Marlowe has vanished. The only hope Charlie and the Talents have of finding their friend rests on a second Orsine, hidden for ages—if it even exists.

When a body is discovered in the rubble of Cairndale, wrapped in corrupted dust, the Talents realize there is more at stake than they feared. A new drughr has emerged—a fierce, horned shadow creature that seems capable of moving freely through the world—and it is not alone.

A malevolent figure known as the Abbess seeks the dust for her own purposes. Meanwhile, in the depths of the world of the dead, a terrible evil stirsone the dust could either awaken or destroy forever.

Thus, the dark journey that began in Ordinary Monsters continues through London’s grim underworld of outcasts, the mysteries of a sunlit Sicilian villa, and the deep, treacherous catacombs of Paris. The Talents must join forces and master their abilities to face bone witches and mud glyphs if they have any hope of surviving—and saving their lost friend.
