One Monday morning, the big complainer parks his van in front of a charming little house. He brings with him a small package, a small package with a pretty bow. The big complainer rings the doorbell, although not loud enough: no one hears him, it's obvious. Minutes go by, and then it starts pouring rain. It can now possibly get a little dangerous! Patience isn't exactly one of our complainer friend's virtues, and if he gets angry, he can wreak havoc!
A picture book featuring a monster that represents impatience, which grows, goes from 0 to 100 instantly and can end up being destructive. In a world in which young and old live at a hectic pace and are used to instant gratification, this funny story reminds us that waiting can bring us nice surprises and unexpected encounters, and that each person does things at their own pace.
