    Die frühgotische Backsteinhallenkirche des Dominikanerklosters in Prenzlau wurde ab 1275 in mehreren Bauphasen errichtet, beeindruckt heute aber dennoch durch ihre Einheitlichkeit. Im Refektorium in den Klausurgebäuden sind in Wandmalereien des 16. Jahrhunderts Szenen aus der Passionsgeschichte Jesu dargestellt. Seit seiner Instandsetzung Ende der 1990er Jahre stellt das Kloster ein Kulturzentrum mit Museum dar, außerdem befinden sich darin die Stadtbibliothek sowie das Historische Stadtarchiv Prenzlaus.
