Discover the Bible (60 Days to Know What the Bible is About)

Discover the Bible: 60 Days to Know What the Bible is About provides the reader with an accessible, reader-friendly, compelling, and habit-forming journey through Scripture’s grand story.  Each day offers a focused overview of a book or theme, key insights, and a one-line summary readers can reflect on—helping readers move from Bible ownership to confident understanding and life-changing engagement in just 5–10 minutes daily.

Where does the sun go when it drops below land’s horizon? What are those dots in the night sky that look like tiny leaks of light? These, among other questions, occupied the pre-scientific ponderings of ancient men and women who sought to understand the world. These same questions about the world led to an even deeper line of inquiry. How did we come to exist? How did the earth form? What is our purpose? Is there a higher being (or beings) tied to the inner workings of my ongoing life? How do I please God? What will make life go well for me?

Genesis is God’s brilliant engagement with our questions. It is a message that transcends time, science, and history. It spoke equally to people of the past and to people of today. In Discover the Bible, you’ll see the whole of the Bible is this way, and waiting for eager souls to discover the meaning of what each book in the Bible has to offer.

Distilled from the popular Know the Word Study Bible, each day readers will discover:

• A focused book or theme overview (drawing from book introductions, key insights, and topical articles) for every book in the Bible.
• Conversational narrative with hooks, stories, and wonder.

Many own Bibles but struggle with where to start or how it applies today. This DayReader solves that by delivering the big-picture redemptive story plus personal relevance. Spend just 5–10 minutes daily and finish with clear understanding of the Bible’s unified message, its relevance today, and how it shapes identity, relationships, choices, and hope.
