Overview
The Master Plan for Delhi 2021 was notified in March 2007. Since then till March 2021, over 14 years, Delhi has seen many changes in its landscape and so has the Master Plan. There have been over 100 gazette notifications for around 350 amendments. On the one hand, it shows MPD 2021 as a dynamic document. On the other it raises some questions about so many amendments. It is now up to planners, administrators and professionals to evaluate whether these amendments have really improved the planned Delhi and made the living in Delhi better. This reader friendly edition updates the Master Plan for Delhi 2021 till 30 June 2021 incorporating all the amendments and provides some important regulations that were notified after the notification of MPD 2021 in 2007.
