Overview
From Bloodruth creator Eric July, with the Soska sisters—the conclusion of Sydnee Bloodruth's debut arc. Art by Michael Montenat; colors by Brett R. Smith.
Sydnee Bloodruth came into a bloodline. The third issue brings what that means home. The asylum revelations, the family wreckage, the weight of Bloodruth Manor and the Book of Forbidden Magick, the cost of carrying a name built on generations of demon-hunting—issue #3 is the final chapter of the debut arc, and Sydnee walks out of it changed. The Soskas have written Sydnee from issue #1—the joint-write voice that carries the Rippaverse's horror lane—and #3 is where the bloodline's modern chapter and its Western past start speaking to each other.
The complete story collects in The Definitive Bloodruth Vol. 1 (HC + TPB, 12/15/26), and Sydnee's road leads straight into the Rippaverse's first major crossover event, Exclave (beginning 11/03/26), where she stands at the center of the line. The bloodline's Western-era past is The Hellbound Stagecoach (8/04/26, also from the Soskas), featuring Sydnee's ancestor Charity Bloodruth.
From Eric July, creator of Bloodruth and founder of Rippaverse Publishing, with writers Jen Soska and Sylvia Soska. Interior art by Michael Montenat (USA, Armhead Studio); colors by Brett R. Smith. 56 pages, on sale 10/13/26.
