Sydnee Bloodruth was born into a family blessed—and cursed—with incredible Blood Magick, sworn to a sacred duty: send the Hellians that escape back to the Hells they came from. After a personal tragedy, she travels alone to Florespark, where her power to sense dark forces draws her to an ancient castle standing impossibly in the Texan desert.
With her shadow wolves, her bird of prey, and even a dragon at her side, Sydnee enters the castle to banish its sinister resident and restore the peace—at the request of Michael Copper and Lilian Ronashi. First introduced in Isom #2, the blood witch gets her own series here.
The first issue of Bloodruth, the Rippaverse's first horror series—created by Eric July, written by the Soska sisters, with art by contest-winner Michael Montenat. The entry point to a saga that runs through Bloodruth #2, #3, the Definitive collection, and the Exclave event. For collectors, it's the debut of one of the line's central characters.
