Overview
The aed is a non-profit initiative founded by engineers, architects
and designers from Stuttgart. Its aim is to promote the extensive
design competence in the Stuttgart region – from product and
graphic design to multimedia, engineering and architecture and to raise public awareness of it. Since its foundation, the aed has organized hundreds of events dedicated to the whole spectrum of design. The aed highlights a wide array of subjects, inviting exchanges and discussion. It therefore provides a unique platform for interdisciplinary exchange between designers and all those interested in design. The book presents a deep insight into the topics, places and people that have influenced and shaped the association over the past years.
